So how did you like the big show ? It was really great to see G.W. go away ,eventhough he's gone the stench of his stinkin thinkin will linger for a long time.
First order of business for Obama close Gitmo and end Bush torture policy Hooray !!! This is the beginining of healing for America .
Now to address the rotten economy left to him by G.W.,s failed adminstration, this will be tough here's a few suggestions..
Bail-out the auto makers with cash from the saudi 's after all, the lousy gas mileage of our cars has made them very wealthy. So if the taxpayers bail them out we're gonna want fuel economy in the 40mpg + range. That means lots less $$$ for the oil shieks, figure it out , ya think they really want to go back to living in tents and rideing camels? I don't think so..
Create new jobs in retail [cause as you know that's about the only industry we have left] By stopping the sale of goods on the internet, We could get people used to going back to stores to buy things, that would mean stores could start hiring again thus more jobs.. Not to mention the millions of $$$ lost on sales tax revenues. As you know those tax dollars are used for education and infastructure and guess what that creates more jobs, that means more cash back into our economy. Got the drift ??
Hey don't get me wrong the internet is a great thing for information ,but for retail it's a death knell as far as creating jobs and putting cash in to our weak economy..
One more thing get the banks to start lending again, after all it's our bail-out money !! How about a 50yr mortage @ 3or 4% with a 5 or 10% down payment. That would help get real estate moving again, and that means people buy homes again then they fix em up, so guess what? that means contractors get busy again.. More help for our sick economy .Whatta ya think ?? Then how about they free up business credit lines again ?that also means more JOBS and thats what America needs...
